It is composed of 75% of PGA and 25% of Polycaprolactone and has very similar properties to Ethicon's Monocryl that is already launched on the market. It has around 75% of strength retention of initial strength in 1 week and is biodgraded. For use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, but not for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissues, microsurgery, or ophthalmic surgery.
